Transformação digital e desempenho de startups: interveniência da informação gerencial e da criatividade empreendedora

Resumen

Objetivo - Este estudio analiza los efectos de la transformación digital en el desempeño de las startups, mediado por el uso de información gerencial y moderado por la creatividad empresarial.
Método - Se realizó una encuesta con gerentes de startups del área tecnológica listadas en StartupBase, y se aplicó la técnica de modelado de ecuaciones estructurales para analizar los 215 cuestionarios respondidos.
Resultados - Los resultados denotan una influencia positiva de la transformación digital en el desempeño organizacional. Esto sugiere que si las startups utilizan nuevas tecnologías, mayores serán las posibilidades de lograr el rendimiento esperado y superar a sus competidores. En esta relación se observó mediación del uso de la información gerencial, lo que indica que el uso de la información gerencial impacta en la toma de decisiones de los gerentes. No se encontró moderación de la creatividad empresarial en la relación propuesta, aunque presumiblemente los empresarios creativos pueden desarrollar innovaciones a través de nuevas tecnologías.
Originalidad/relevancia - esta investigación abre nuevos caminos al investigar la interrelación de los constructos transformación digital, uso de información gerencial, creatividad empresarial individual y desempeño organizacional en nuevas empresas.
Contribuciones Teórico/Metodológicas - Los resultados contribuyen llenando los vacíos identificados en la literatura, ya que revelan que la transformación digital y el uso de información gerencial son impulsores importantes del desempeño organizacional.
Contribuciones sociales/de gestión - el estudio tiene implicaciones prácticas al demostrar que la transformación digital y el uso de información gerencial se reflejan en el desempeño organizacional, una señal importante para los gerentes sobre el enfoque fundamental para mejorar el desempeño de las empresas emergentes.
