Justiça Interpessoal e Intenção de Turnover dos Gestores: o Efeito Mediador da Liderança Transformacional no Ambiente Organizacional

Resumo

Objetivo: Este estudo analisa o efeito mediador do estilo de liderança transformacional na relação entre a justiça interpessoal e intenção de turnover.

Método: Esta pesquisa foi conduzida por meio de um survey com 162 gestores de departamentos de empresas brasileiras de capital fechado, listadas na base de dados da EMIS®. Para a análise dos dados, utilizou-se a técnica estatística de Modelagem de Equações Estruturais (MEE).

Originalidade/Relevância: A importância deste estudo reside na proposta de investigar o efeito mediador do estilo de liderança transformacional na relação entre justiça interpessoal e intenção de turnover.

Resultados: Os resultados demonstraram que a justiça interpessoal e o estilo de liderança transformacional reduzem a intenção de turnover dos gestores, bem como o estilo de liderança transformacional medeia a relação entre a justiça interpessoal e a intenção de turnover.

Contribuições Teóricas/Metodológicas: As descobertas deste estudo sugerem contribuições teóricas, ampliando as evidências empíricas no contexto brasileiro sobre os fatores que influenciam a intenção de turnover dos gestores, destacando a importância da justiça interpessoal e do estilo de liderança transformacional.

Contribuições Sociais/para a Gestão: Sob a perspectiva gerencial, o estudo indica que o comportamento do líder ao motivar suas equipes e a justiça no ambiente de trabalho contribuem para reduzir o turnover. Assim, é essencial que as empresas desenvolvam estratégias que valorizem esses fatores na retenção de talentos.
